We are currently seeking a skilled **Commercial and Domestic Gas Engineer** with proven plumbing experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating systems in both domestic and commercial properties, ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities:**

– **Installation, maintenance, and repair** of gas appliances (boilers, heaters, cookers, etc.) in domestic and commercial settings.

– Conduct **safety inspections** and certification of gas appliances in compliance with regulations.

– **Fault finding and diagnostics** for both gas and plumbing systems, ensuring timely and effective solutions.

– Perform **plumbing installations and repairs**, including pipework, fixtures, and general water systems.

– **Servicing and repairs** of central heating systems, radiators, pumps, and associated controls.

– **Emergency response** to breakdowns or urgent repairs in both commercial and residential properties.

– Provide **excellent customer service**, explaining issues and providing clear recommendations.

– Ensure all work meets **health and safety standards** and adheres to industry regulations.

– Maintain **accurate records** of all work undertaken, including maintenance logs and certificates.

– Collaborate with team members and **mentor junior engineers**, if applicable.

**Requirements:**

– **Gas Safe registered** (essential).

– Proven experience in both **domestic and commercial gas engineering**.

– Strong **plumbing background** with relevant qualifications.

– **NVQ Level 2/3** in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent.

– Valid **UK driving license**.

– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

– Strong knowledge of **current gas safety regulations** and best practices.

– Good communication skills and a **customer-focused attitude**.

– **Willingness to travel** to various sites when required.

**Desirable:**

– Experience with **renewable energy systems** (e.g., air source heat pumps, solar thermal).

– Knowledge of **building services** and HVAC systems.

– Certification in **unvented hot water systems** (G3).

– Familiarity with **commercial building codes** and standards.
